Our Vision
Our vision is to secure outstanding learning opportunities for students in our alliance and beyond, through high quality professional learning and collaboration which all teachers and leaders can access. We are also focused on delivering outstanding initial teacher training opportunities through the School Direct route and supporting those returning to a career in teaching.

Our Ethos
Our alliance has a shared ethos of working together and investing in teachers and leaders. We believe that each teacher and leader is unique and has their own talent which can be enhanced through regular professional discussion, practical CPD and self-reflection. All teachers and leaders should be able to access high quality, differentiated CPD and professional networks that fully meet their needs, and those of their school and students.
Our journey as a Teaching School Alliance mirrors that of the professional learning process – self-reflection, professional discussion and evidence of impact underpin everything we do. We continually strive to lead a thriving, self-improving system through collaborative evaluation and re-shaping of our work. This will always be a priority in a continually changing educational environment.
If every teacher and leader feels they have sufficient challenge, support, inspiration and enjoyment in their career, we believe it is possible for every student to enjoy their education, achieve their very best and have a purposeful, happy future as a valuable member of society.
