Head of year message
As we reach the end of Year 10 I want to say how much I’ve enjoyed being your Head of Year this year. It has been fantastic getting to know you all and to see how much you have grown in confidence and maturity over the last 12 months.
This year has been full of memorable experiences, from the Geography field trip and Duke of Edinburgh Award to the ski trip. You have also completed your first GCSE-style PPEs and taken part in mock interviews, helping you prepare for the future.
I’ve been really impressed by the effort and enthusiasm shown in lessons, as well as the way so many of you represent Southam College every day. Whether it’s saying hello in the corridor, supporting your friends, or showing kindness, confidence and resilience, you should be proud of what you have achieved.
Year 11 is now just around the corner. It will bring challenges, opportunities and plenty of hard work, but I know you are ready for it. Have a brilliant summer and I look forward to seeing all the amazing things you will accomplish in your final year at Southam College.
