Year 11 2026-2027

Welcome back! We hope you've had a good summer and are feeling refreshed and ready for the year ahead.

This is an important year as you'll be working towards your GCSEs and I am looking forward to working with you to make the most of your time in school this year. While the final exams may seem a long way off at the moment, the work you do from the start of the year will make a real difference when the summer arrives.

Over the coming months, we'll be focusing on building effective revision habits, developing study skills and helping you plan your time well. Our aim is to make sure you feel prepared and confident as you move through the year.

We'll also be supporting you as you start thinking about your next steps after Year 11, whether that's sixth form, college, apprenticeships or other pathways. There will be lots of opportunities to explore your options and prepare for the future.

Of course, Year 11 isn't just about exams. It's also your final year at school, and we're looking forward to celebrating your achievements along the way. As the year progresses, there will be plenty of milestones to mark, culminating in the end-of-year celebrations and Prom!
