Year 11!

Welcome back and what a fantastic start you have all made! You have all shown confidence, resilience and taken all your learning in your stride, so well done for this, and please be assured it does not go unnoticed! I know for some of you school isn’t easy, however the potential I see for you all this year is incredible and I will do my absolute best for you all to get what each of you need get to the future destination. You might not always agree with my choices at the time but I’m hopeful that in years to come you’ll remember and thank me for it.
It goes without saying, this year is a crucial year for you all and I am determined to make sure you work hard but also enjoy it. PPE 1 is on the horizon so now it’s time to start putting in the prep for these if you haven’t already. Make a revision timetable - you may have done this in the revision slot during tutor time! Commit to it and stick to the plan. It would have it visible to refer to daily. Embrace the work now and it’ll make the Spring & Summer term a lot more enjoyable for you all!

It goes without saying that your welfare is a priority. It is important to look after yourselves. Sleep, nutrition, taking regular breaks are all necessary and important to keep those brain cells working! Make sure you look after yourselves! Likewise, if you need to talk anything through all staff are available to help whenever needed!
